Triptych Description
I describe this series as ‘visual sound poems’. If you view them as poems then you get what I am doing. Sort of like two-dimensional Haiku… You can read them left to right, right to left, or center to left to right, etc. Or see them as musical notation—each panel a note, a tone, a sound. Take a Jazz song and distill it down into a painting—condensed music. If you view each triptych using your peripheral vision the elements will begin to move independent of one another—generating a trance state—and of course a trance state is a Portal into the Infinite Eternal—from whence we came, and shall one day return…
